You have questions, we've got answers.
Please find answers to the top questions that were submitted to TikTok during the live webinar on July 15th.
Q:Â Where can I register for a TikTok Ad Manager account?
A:Â You can register for a TikTok Ad Manager account HERE.
Q: Are there budget minimums?
A:Â Minimum budget is $50 USD at the Campaign level and $20 USD at the Ad Group level. Please note that we recommend your daily budget be at least 20x your bid to allow the campaign to continue to run. For example, if your bid is $5 and your daily budget is $20, then you may potentially only be able to achieve 4 actions before your campaign stops running for the day. Please see our help center article for more information on bid and budget best practices.
Q:Â Which type of campaigns did you say was the best to start off with?
A:Â This will vary based on your business goals, but generally we'd recommend starting with an upper funnel marketing objective, such as a reach objective or traffic objective campaigns to start building up your audience and traffic from TikTok.
Q: How long is the learning phase?
A: Typically an ad group will need to achieve 50 conversions to pass the learning phase. Please see our help center article for more information on the learning phase.
Q: Can you make a business center profile if you've already created a TikTok Ads Manager account?
A: Yes! All you need to do is link the TikTok Ads Manager account to your Business Center. Please see directions in our Help Center.
1) Link the ad account to your Business Center HERE
2) Add users to Business center HERE
3) Give the user permission to manage that ad account HERE
Q: I have 10 brands on Tiktok. How do add them all to the same business center?
A: Please see our help center article on how to manage accounts through your Business Center.
Q: Can you have two sets of business information for one ad account?
A: No, one set of business information is required per account. You should create separate accounts for separate businesses.
Q: For agencies, should you create a new account for each client, or have them all under one account?
A: Each client should have their own account. As an agency, you can then manage multiple accounts through Business Center.
Q: Is it best to have our web developer add the pixel to our website?
A: If you are working with a web developer, they should be familiar with the pixel set-up process. However a web developer is not necessary to install your pixel. You can follow these steps from our help center
Q: Is there a way to track in-app conversions?
A: Yes, you can setup in-app events tracking. Please note that you will need to be working with one of our Mobile Measurement Partners in order to track in app events.
Q: Is there another section to this webinar on how to create successful content?
A: Yes, we will be covering creative and content best practices on our next webinar on Tuesday July 21st at 2pm ET! You can register HERE.
Q: Do you support targeting by geography? For example, can we target by state?
A: Yes, we currently allow targeting at the state level.
Q: Is there a team that could check my website for pixel installation to ensure that I've installed everything properly?
A: Our Pixel Helper can assist with this and can be downloaded from our help center article. The Pixel Helper tool helps to automatically check if the pixel was installed correctly and if the events associated have successfully triggered.
